Joined Up Smoke Alarms
We have been told that we must all have smoke alarms which are linked to each other and also into the electric mains. However, when we look at the details, it seems that this might not be as problematic as it seemed at first. In particular, it may not be necessary to have alarms wired into the mains circuits. A NEW DEVELOPMENT AND A TEST (21st March 2022)
About two months after my installation of the legally required smoke and heat detectors I received a letter from the suppliers enclosing stickers to be attached to the detectors. I dealt with that and decided that this would be a suitable time to test the system. See the video for more details.
